PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are casting "The Survivor Series, Part 2: The Cost of Dignity," a grounded dramatic short film exploring the emotional and moral cost of survival for a young single mother pushed to her limits. She is forced to confront how much of herself she must sacrifice to survive. There are mature themes in this short film. However, all scenes that require any nudity or intimacy will be shot professionally with a closed set and intimacy coordinator.

Supporting. Female. 35-45

​

Mr. Ray’s wife. Loud, brash, materialistic, and comedic relief. Always has something to say. Character actress, bold presence.

The Strip Club Owner and General Manager; professional, intimidating, but not predatory — represents the transactional side of the adult industry. Corporate demeanor with street tone. Note: Must be comfortable in strip club environment.

Tiffany’s old boyfriend and past abuser. He’s a predator that demonstrates lewd, vulgar behavior. He is Jalen’s biological father due to his past assault on Tina when she was 16.

Tina’s outspoken older sister. Works in healthcare. Pragmatic, defensive, loving but flawed. Believes survival justifies compromise. Provides both conflict and support. Street-smart, blunt, and hardened by life. Former exotic dancer who became the family caretaker at a young age; strong-willed, assertive, comedic edge. Actress must bring grit, sass, and authenticity.

Note: Brief sexual situation in bedroom scene with boyfriend. Scene requires implied sex, brief nudity or partially undressed depending on actress comfort level. All scenes that require any nudity or intimacy will be shot professionally with a closed set and intimacy coordinator.

Audition Instructions:

For consideration, submit acting resume, headshots and full body shots. Production states: "After we review your submission, if we feel that you fit the role you're interested in, we will send you a Non-Disclosure Agreement and Personal Data form to complete. After you return those documents, you will be sent sides to complete your video audition. The best video auditions will be required and scheduled to meet in-person for an in-person audition."
